Rescue Veiled Recovery....
Well, some may recall a few weeks ago when I rescued Omar, an adult male veiled that was near death from no food and severe dehydration. Eyes were so sunken in, we did not know if he would ever bounce back. So, after everyday with fluids and handfeeding, he is starting to open one eye. Its slow progress, but I will take it.
The pic is a little fuzzy, but you can actually see he has an eye now, not just a shriveled up cavity!
