I would if that were am option but the post office here can not do overnight in or out of havre. I live in a tiny town 30 miles south of canada.
Kevin even UPS could not explain to us why they found "extra" tracking numbers. If there were ever any on the box they were gone prior to UPS giving the box to me. Last night Franie & I were on the phone with UPS at the same time. One agent assured her the box would be returned to her this morning while the other agent was assuring me the box would be here to me. Then today I was at the airport when the UPS plane arrived. After sorting it the ups guys said my box was not there. about 10 minutes later they scanned it in. This package had a curse on it. I think it was because Franie didn't really want to give Mork & Mindy to me.
Also my brother in law is out of surrey and ok but will need more surgery in a few days. So I think life is settling down and I WILL GO TO BED.
A good example of why you don't use a box twice..... or why it's a good idea to make a good effort to remove all previous shipping stickers.

10/14/2010 9:08 A.M. MULTIPLE TRACKING NUMBERS WERE FOUND ON THIS PACKAGE / FORWARDED TO THE FACILITY IN THE DESTINATION CITY
There were no stickers on the box other than the stamp for "live animal" and the shipping label printed off and correctly adhered to the box. The tracking number on the box, ups, and shipping co all matched the entire time. There was never any additional tracking numbers on the box.......
It's good to not make assumptions, right?
Kevin, you did not need to make implications that Franie used a box with extra stickers on it. I have talked to Franie and there were no extra stickers, anything on the box. The way you made your post seemed as if you were trying to imply that they had reused a box to cut corners.According to what is in this thread, there were two stickers. Assumption is based off of what I read here.
And what I said is a good example. Maybe you didn't use the box twice, maybe you did only have one sticker..... BUT as you can see in my first quote, when you do have two stickers, the box can go to the wrong place ie: good example of why you should always use a fresh box, with no other labels.

Great Point!!! If I reuse a box, I make sure all the old stickers are totally off.
I am glad you were able to understand the point I was making without taking it personal.
Most of UPS operates by machine. Machines scan and weigh boxes and distribute them. There is a bit more hands on handling when you deal with overnight and live animal shipping... but that doesn't mean a label can't come off of another package and be stuck to yours or that after you've dropped the box off that a UPS person adds another label.
If you used a new box and had only one label. OBVIOUSLY you did a good job and it is UPS's fault.
