Okay I REALLY want to hear everyones stories about their meanest and nicest chams and what they did to make them so. Also feel free to post pics and don't hesitate to go in depth! Also describe your cham, his/her locale, his/her color, I want to know it all:D:D

Can't wait to hear y'all's stories!

My nicest cham has been Kuzco:) he's so sweet! Climbs to the door of his cage and stares at me till I get him out and he has never once hissed gaped or tried to bit me. He is 6months old and a red bar ambilobe panther chameleon:)

He just sat and held my finger for like 15 minutes today lol

Hi. So I got my first chameleon 4 days ago. His name is Reptar. He is a 5 month old veiled chameleon. He is very friendly and sweet. I finally got him to eat his first meal yesterday. He comes from a bloodline of turquoise and yellow. Every time I mist his cage, he comes towards me. He's already eaten 4 crickets from my hand. What an experience. Today was the first day I handled him. This is a picture from earlier today. He sure is cute :)

I have a 6 1/2 month old Male High Turquoise Veiled, he has been in our household since he was 4 months old and really he is a sweet guy. Has he hissed at us yes a few times but he in non aggressive, the reason he hissed was that the first time he crawled into my son's hair and he did not want to leave his head lol and the second was he fell off a window sill and i was checking him over to make sure he didn't get hurt and he did not want to be handled. but really other then those times he is sweet.

Here he is starting to puff up because he hates the camera he was 5 months old lol

I know I've been reading all your threads and watched your video too:p! He really is gorgeous. I don't have one my self yet but its only because i cant decide between a veiled and a panther chameleon.

P.S. dont stop posting i love hearing the stories!

well my cham is decently friendly once hes out of his cage. but yesterday i was trying to get him to eat some small pieces of apple and after trying to shoot them (he couldnt grab them cuz i cut the skin off) he came down to my hand and took em. i was so nervous lol i thought he was trying to bite me

My meanest cham was named Gray Tongue.

He became that way after he died in battle, and I treated his body with gene therapy, and supplemented his mortal body with new-age technology:

Ive seen a few that were even meaner than him though, dont ask me how...

That's so cool to hear thank you!!!! That makes me really happy and hey if it's your first try something a little easy and cheap like a veiled. Learn the ropes then spend your money on a panther. I'm just saying because we can all make mistakes when we get our first chameleon and panthers aren't cheap so you don't want all that money going down the drain you know? Well that's what I'm doing at least.

Oh my god this is legitimately the funniest thing I've ever seen. This deserves to be featured on the sight somehow!!!

And I know I've been on edge because of that because I know my parents would never allow more than one chameleon in the house, and if I am lucky enough to have mine live for 5 or so years i would really like to have it something that I would have a better chance of it creating a "friendly" bond with me. Thanks for the advice though!

You know he could be very handy when you couldn't find a working flashlight.
The last guy seems like a good choice for starting a barbeque or campfire.
I suppose the inconvenience of thick asbestos gloves would make him less fun to use for that.;)

MCSEB, I'm very glad they sent you a cute one instead of the beasts in Solid Snake's post.

Yeah I get you. My parents only allow 1 for now I think lol but when I move out in a few months, I am getting myself another. I think I'll be good with 2 :)

Yea I wish I could say the same I've got a number of years before I'll be able to move out. Plus I don't know that I would ever really want more than one it seems as if it would begin to get somewhat pricey... (but then again i hear way to often that you can't just have one:))

I agree with you on that. I've spent almost $500 on my first chameleon and its supplies but once you get one, you want another trust me!

Wow. I really want one. Just out of curiosity how did you convince your parents to let you get one? I've got enough money to buy everything on my own, but he is still hesitant I think it is because of the screen cage...
