I don't have a particular tree right now--I haven't bought or planted one yet. But Peter and Ender both like the maple tree that's past my front porch because it's got part shade and part sun and they can bask there. They haven't tried to eat the leaves yet, so I find that it's okaySweet, do you have a speciel tree or bush to put him on when outside?
Do you have a hard time getting him to come back inside?
I wish I had something small they could climb around on outdoors and not have to put them in cages.
But if I did that, I would have to stay out there with them for fear of birds swooping down and grabbing them.
With the cage, I can just put them out, and go inside about my business, just checking on them every 15 minutes.
Thanks! He likes that tree the most--it doesn't poke him when he climbs it! HahaPeter is styling!! Love that first pic in the maple! So camouflaged.
Somehow I didn't put the pics up with the original post lol
Thanks! I think he's gonna make some good babies--I gotta get a female within the next year!Wooow! You have a nice Peter.

Hopefully soon I'll have set up my outdoor enclosure. I want it to be pretty big and have the plants from the safe list in there. But yeah, it's super hard to catch them again to bring them inside!! Haha they love it too much out there.
Trying to get them to bring them inside is the only time they'll hiss at me. Otherwise they're totally open to being picked up!
That's cute!Peter looks great! So glad you were able to give him a good home.
Lola only tolerates being taken from her cage. She doesn't hiss or anything, but she does darken in color and puff up. Once we're outside though she turns the most beautiful shades of light green with hints of white and blue. I especially love how her eyes and head don't stop moving when we're outside. It's like she's trying to take everything in.
