Pheonix worms

How long does it take for pheonix worms to become black soldier flies? Is there a special temperature I have to keep them a at?

This was on pheonix worms.com FAQ : Phoenix Worms must not be fed as this can foul the media and cause growth of bacteria, fungus, and other problems. Just add a few drops of water if the media/worms begin to appear too dry.

Depends on what size you get the larger ones are older - and take less time -
They sell calci worms around here at pet stores which are the same bug but sit around in the pet stores for longer so they hatch out into flies a lot quicker
If you don't want them to hatch you keep them at a lower temp so temp is also probably a factor - I've never actually tried to hatch them - with the medium they took a couple of weeks to hatch out keeping them at about 65-70.

Thank you for the info, I'm trying to hatch them because my chams don't like eating worms (of any kind) and love flies but I can't find any flies except fruit flies so the worm lady told me to hatch them and the chams should go for them. Hope it works!
