The winner of this contest may choose a gift certificate to one of the companies listed above. This should give the winner a nice choice of where to use their gift certificate. The certificate can not be split up and used at multiple places. If they prefer, overseas winners may choose a $40 Amazon gift certificate.

The current vote count is hidden from members. The reason for this is so that future votes are not influenced by the current vote count.

What about making vote count veiwable only to members who have already voted.

Why the need to know? It's only a 2 week wait.

Also, no matter whom its viewable to, everyone can be told or shown, and still influenced.

Will has a valid point...

No matter what, if it is possible to veiw vote counts before the end of the contest, some may be influenced. If someone was desperate enough to veiw vote counts with another screen name or ask another member before voting, they can't think for themselves and thier vote is a waste. Perhaps it is best to leave it as is to force everyone to think for themselves. I must admit though, I am curious now. I like to watch the whole season right down to the final play of the superbowl, not just see the final score on sportscenter.

I agree it is best not to show the votes. It is kinda like American idol we are influenced by what the judges say.

Delay

Sorry about the delay. January was a tough month for me, and I have been having some problems finding a judge. I have some friends coming over for the superbowl and I will get one of them to judge for me. Results will be up late this evening, and the February contest will be accepting photos tomorrow (Monday).
