Picky Brat

I have been trying to get my veiled to eat worms, have tried almost every kind!!!! In the last week he has been in a great routine, I mist in the am around 9ish and then put some crickets in both his terrarium then some into his dish, he will head right to his dish and have breakfast!!! So I thought it was time to try worms again, I got horned, butter and silks, 5 worms in total!! Normal routine this morning, but put worms in dish and didn't offer any crickets. Right away he headed to the dish and stopped in his tracks, continued to stare at the dish for 10 min, then turned and walked away!!! I went back an hour later and he puffed up at me right away!!!! Ok, I am wiped and wrapped, I put 5 crickets in his dish, walked away, came back 5 min later and all crickets are gone and he has a dish with 5 worms!!!!!

BUGGER!!!!!

Try putting a worm on a vine. May just need to hunt for a meal .

They are cheeky little buggers aren't they? Some days I see no difference in the attitude of my cham OR my teenager!! lol

I have a male, veiled too. I feed mine meal worms, I hold up a worm so that he can see it, until it moves, then I put it on a leaf next to him and then he gobbles it up.
