As a newbie that is about to design and build her enclosure, I would love to see photos of everyone's habitats!

Thanks,
Jenn

Thanks Beeze, that looks good. I am going to build a wooden framed cage, but approximately the same dimensions and set up.

Hi, you can go to "Search", put user name "lyndra" in, click on "enclosures and supplies", and my veiled's enclosure is under thread name "New Enclosure".

here is a cage i am in the process of designing. i have yet to complete the final product but this is about what it is going to look like. i just have to work the door out which should be pretty simple. i have an area at the top to enclose the lights, pump, dripper, etc, and room on the bottom for a drainage tray. i can make them pretty quick ( i use a CNC router at work) if anybody wants one, send me a pm. hope this helps!

Just looked, your enclosure is beatiful!

I thought it would be helpful, both for newbies and more experienced keepers to check out everyone's cages/setups. I know looking at yours has given me some great ideas, thanks!

Hey, here are some photos of my 24"x24"x36" cages.

If you want to know how I set this up and made drainage, here is the thread.

Note the reptisun bulbs spanning two cages each, the basking bulbs being positioned over branches to achieve the correct temp (use a temp gun or probe thermometer), basking branches 6-8" under the UVB bulbs, live plants, lots of obvious "highways" for climbing around the cage, cover and open spaces for either hiding or basking, both vertical and horizontally placed branches/vines (good for a variety of movement- i.e. climbing up, sitting still, hunting, sleeping, basking), deli cups as drippers (placed over leaves on "highways" to attract drinking, bare bottomed cages, and feeding cups (only for some- I feed Darjeeling by hand normally)

Do you have specific questions about enclosures and how to put them together?
