Well I'll just go on the waiting list haha nice pick up :p
Thank you.:D

Lol, ya kno! Still congrats on the new addition. Can I ask how you got ahold of one?

Thank you . And I got my beautiful boy from one of my really good friends Patrick colorful creatures he is a forum member here. He did such a got job raising this boy and i am glad to own the only one he had to offer. As for getting a hold of one you just have to keep checking around for people posting them for sale or know someone who has one or a few. It's not that easy I have been trying for a few years now and just got my boy.

Everybody there is the outside chance that quotas of Parsonii could happen again. Some students from universities in Madagascar are working with the IUCN Red List and CITES to show that conservative quotas could be sustainable and productive. Run a search Kent has a recent thread about this. There was if I recall accurately 5 to 7 species for review for new quota species this year and Calumma parsonii was one. Out of these only Furcifer campani has made it to a second meeting for new quotas this year. However if conservation continues and these studies and research bey university students are turned in for meeting with the IUCN Red List and CITES there is a good shot that Parsonii quotas could happen.

That would be great I read that post by Kent that was a good thread. As long as there is a strict low number allowed each year and at a size and gender that would not effect the wild population that would be great.

From what I have read the recommended quotas were about 200 Parsonii a year. With current quotas for Fucifer pardalis, lateralis, oustaleti, and verrucosus are 2000 animals a year. There were some extremely neat ideas too. If Parsonii were exported with quotas only sub adults would be allowed to exports. This would allow the adult breeders to keep breeding in the wild and sites not have to recover from a lack of breeding animals. Plus the sub adults could be farm raised and not come from the wild at all. It looks promising and hope something happens when appropriate.
