He is a very nice animal indeed, although, to be frank...I dont believe he looks like a Tamatave. His color variations look nothing like the Tamataves Ive seen ( not just my own, but others as well). However, Ive been told the reds they gain CAN start out as a blue. Keep us updated on his coloring...Chances are, if it stay with the blue, it may not be pure Tamatave.


PS: This post isnt any type of personal attack. I am saying what I'm observing. Like anyone else, I could be wrong, but moving from ambilobe to Tamatave under any circumstances is a little "iffy"

Jake, i know what you mean but the breeder had them incubating together (ambilobe and Tamatave) so i think he is, he doesnt really look like an ambilobe does he?

Not really. If he is still not an adult, chances are he is Tamatave, and the blue should turn to red in some time. How old is he??
