This first pic is of the habitat where we found C.jacksonii merumontanus. We found two males in about an hour during a daytime trip. The temperature there was around 65-70 degrees during the heat of the day(it is also tanzanias winter season).

C.Rudis habitat

We found many c.rudis within the meru habitat although they were found in open areas in small bushes nearly on the ground. We found several males almost sitting on the ground along the roadside near this pine forest.

Chameleon Farm In Arusha Tanzania

The main purpose for the trip to tanzania was to hand select animals for export from our exporter over there. This is a photo of the chameleon cages at the farm(MBT snake farm and reptile centre). Mostly c.rudis, b.fisheri, b.taventanum, delipis etc were being produced here. The farm is situated at the base of Arusha national park and is truly a serene setting.

B.uthmoelleri in tanzania

Here is a pic of a male B.uthmoelleri at the MBT compound. These guys were one of my favorite species and remind me of a panther. They commonly lick the branches and have a very uniqure personality and color range.

Pics of the reptile crew in arusha TZ

This pic is some of the crew that work very hard to make sure that the animals are taken care of properly, orders are kept track of and everything goes off without a hitch.

I wonder if someone would actually move to Madagascar and start a Chameleon Farm. Then, they could supply the European and USA with CB Chameleon and not WC. Thus, helping some endangered species to fight extinction by captive breeding and releasing some while exporting others out of the country.:D

Let's go Poh... You and me. There's too much drama here and not enough sunshine apparently to make our chameleons grow. Forget Europe, though, let's just supply Mike. He won't complain as much and pays the bills on time LOL.

P.S. Nice pics Nick...

Yeah..you know what, let me finish my Master in Public Health (already got my degree in Biotechnology and Master in Biotechnology...maybe i can clone some chameleon with my degree).:p 2 more years, after that I will be detached with the University and then I will be a free man to go around. Yeah, supply Mike with Chameleons for cheap and ask him to sell them out 10X more...LOL...!! Lets monopolize the industries!!

(still a dream but I am sure one day I will make it happen!!):D

Naw, let's charge him alot... I've got some pictures of him that I'll release to the public if he gives us any problems. We'll have to discuss any marketing plans on MySpace, out of the public eye.

LOL!! Mike is like the most quite person in this forum, he hardly involve in controversial argument. Having his picture posted all around the web seems mean to him. MySpace sucks... there are so many hackers there that would hack your account...i prefer facebook...LOL!!:D

LoL... Yaaaa I can just see hunty run'n around in the rain forest bringing gillions back home by the pocket full! It would be cool to go check out such a place in person though.

I really envy Chris, he gets to go to Madagascar... I would really love to go there at least once in my lifetime to check out the area. Chameleons are so cool and to see them in their natural habitat is like a dream comes true. But, right now i can't go round for the next 2 years... i have sign my life off to the University for 2 years...LOL

Can I go too?

Great pics, Nick. :D

Thanks Nick. Awesome stuff. While I'm not a big fan of the Benji Ficus, looks like it mimics some of the dense bush you see in the wild out there.
