How about a picture of yours? What do you have? Oh, I just checked your posts and see that you are just getting into chameleons. That's great. Well, our set up is a whole lot more complicated than it needs to be. We did it this way to have it automated as much as possible (within reason :))

Darci and I have a large room full of lots o racks like the pic below. For natural sunlight we just roll them outside and plug them into another misting pump easy to keep clean and maintain!

chad i have the same kind of setup as you for the babies and juvies except all my cages measure 16x16" so theres no space between them. All the racks are on wheels and i can roll them wherever. Only downside is you cant open the bottom latch of the cage for easy cleaning. Ill post some pics of my setup this week sometime.

also juli, your utilization of your dining room is hilarious. No other room to go with them?

Well-it is really the only room we never used! In Florida you tend to use the outdoors for entertaining, and even though at the moment I am planning on building on a room for them eventually, I currently need a roof-so of course that will come first! :(

As for my electric bill: I have 3 teenagers all with a TV and PC running 24/7, plus a pool, all electric hot water heaters and AC-so it averages $420 a month! I would estimate the cham lights are eating up $40-$60 of that at the moment!

I know how it is, room can be hard to come by, and im lucky i have parents that gave me two empty rooms and are paying the bill!. I bet you could cut some cost by consolidating cages side my side, and using 4ft shop lights spanning everything.

I did about the same thing except with landscpe sheeting....works good but its so ghetto....good thing we all have some MacGyver in us.
