hi all i am sure that you know by now(with all my questions) i am getting my cham early next week.
i am getting my reptic enclosure set up. i currently have 2 of the simple temparture gauges and 1 digital temp/hydro gauge.
i have a temp by the basking area. i have the other at the bottome of the cage. so i am assuming(never a good idea i have found) i should put the temp/hydro mete in the middle?
exact middle, more on one side? if so what side.
if it matters i have the 100 gallon size, and i am getting a panther cham who will be 16 weeks.
thanks for any help that you can give me.

oh just thought of another question do i need to get the reader in th middle of the cage? or on the actual cage ?

I put my hygrometer at the level where my cham is most commonly at. That would be at level of the basking branch. But it always helps to have two at different areas of the cage. Then you can average out the humidity and compare the two.

Anywhere in the cage, and anywhere where it will not get wet . If it gets wet the readings will be way off until it dries.

oh well now i am not sure where to put it so it doesn't get wet.
i mean i will be misting in there.
i finally decided to put in in the middle in the branches of the tree.
so crude i don't have it in a good area?
should i move it to way up high? and just get another temp for the middle of the cage? of it is enough to have one in the basking spot, the digital hydro/temp over on the other side. and another temp down at the bottom?
my guy will be here in the morning so i have to get it set up just right tonight.
