One question..ive asked around and had a ton of answers. So im coming on here for the experts. What is the BEST plant or tree to buy for a panther chameleon. One that is perfect for him and can take some abuse and easy to care for inside a house?

pothos, ficus, hibiscus (more maintenance side), schefflera... There isn't a "best" plant... You have to decide what exactly you want to give him

I just got a dracanea (cane plant) fragrans - the plant gurus say all of the plants in this family are safe, no toxicity concerns - they do not like to have thier roots really wet though, so I mixed organic top soil with organic peat to lighten and better drain the soil, and also I am trying keeping most of the dirt covered so the plant only gets some of the water dripping around the cage. We will see if it works! Search "safe plants" on here or Fl Chams have a list on their website too! :D

I truly feel dracaena fragrans is one of the most unappreciated plants for chams... I have two and I use one as a free range part an another was Stans first plant... It holds water great and allows for you to create a drip effect, and makes it easier to perch feeding bowls... I love these plants... Their idiot proof as well :)
