Is it safe for the wood to be close to the top where lighting fixtures are? Let’s say cage is 48” height. Is it safe to have 48” wooden dowels or should there be a separation?

The ones they sell at hobby lobby should be 3ft exactly. Which leaves you a foot. I would not go to the top. There really isn't any reason for this either.

I rock 2 in each enclosure with an Arcadia T5HO 6% single fixture. I use them for basking as well.

I am running 4(2 jungle dawn, and 2 sansi) with a single arcadia 6% as well.
Just enough heat, and the plants seem to be doing better than they were with a t5 quad fixture using 2 6500k bulbs/1 plant bulb.

I only have all 4 going a couple hours a day. The two in front kick on first about 6am. Uv on at 8. The two in back come on at noon. Front off at 2. Uv off at 4, and the two in back off at 6.

Yeah you got a lot of foliage too. Probably best you have that many. Looks really good.

Ok so I have some good bulbs on order,but wont be here for a little while. My hibiscus is soooo sad so going for just buy something cheap for the time being. Is there any lights I SHOULD NOT get for plants that may harm a cham

Red lights stay away from all red lights.

What basking temperatures are you getting with these? I want a bulb I can use as basking along with plant growth

the 24w bulbs. Full spectrum led.

Well thank you for this was gona buy a squad set up 2 6500k tubes with one 3500k tube think I’m go for jungle dawn spot light
