Plants?

Im looking to add some live plants but I want to know your favorites. What plants have you found to work best? I see a lot of pothos in enclosure pics here. I have a horrible time keeping plants alive so I'm looking for something hearty. I had a ficus and it didn't do well. It died very quickly.

Also, any ideas on ways to get plants that hasn't been treated with pesticides? Or ways to make them safe?

Pothos is generally the best, and luckily for you it's pretty hard to kill!

Yuccac are not a good plant for a chameleon they don't offer any good grip sizes

While it's true that yucca make it hard for grip sizes, you can put a bendy vine at an angle in the foliage and the cage so that they can climb the sticks and hide in the plant somewhat. It's kind of hard to see in this picture, but that's what I do with my yucca. You kinda have to work at it with the sticks so your little dude doesn't fall off or make the sticks fall out of place.

OK in my opinion the best plants to use are pothos, Schefflera, and ficus since they allow for good grip/climbing and hiding I think you'll find theses are the most commonly used in keepers cages oh and if you live in Hawaiian islands Hibiscus is good too.

Pothos are great for all the water that goes into them because they can literally live in a cup of water. I also use a hibiscus.
