Pleasant surprise from my carpet today :)

Today I went to hand feed my carpet chameleon, Telo, a cricket today (I fed him yesterday but offered him one anyway).
To my surprise, he by-passed the crickets and walked straight onto my hand, up my arm and perched himself on my shoulder. I realized I had some sunlight from the window on me, so we took a little basking break.

This is him basking with me (a little dark, soakin' up that sun )

And once he warmed up, he decided to try and explore the famous World's Smallest Free Range (aka the plants on my windowsill).

He looks just like my smallest male! Yours is a lot nicer though. My males will do anything to not be near my hands!

Haha I really lucked out with this guy!
He's always let me hand feed but I never really tried to pet or handle him. Lately he's been showing me some adventurous behaviors though

That's amazing that he stepped onto your hand! I have a Carpet boy who will be 3 years old this year and he is not a nice boy! I have had 3 Veileds and 2 Jackson's over the years and the only one that has ever bitten me is my Carpet boy! He has little man syndrome I think.

Hahaha! Little man syndrome that's great.

My veiled hasn't bitten me yet, but if any of my pets were to bite me it'd be him for sure. Although my veiled was my first, and I definitely wanted to "tame" him.

Maybe it's reverse psychology?

Sadly no I do not have any pictures of him doing it lol kinda hard to get a picture while him trying to run on me lol:,) I guess I can try tomorrow hehe. But here is just a pic of him attempting to get to my arm lol.
