Please help ID this plant

I was looking for an umbrella tree/umbrella plant. I found this in Lowe's and thought it was safe for my enclosure... now I dont know what I have because it isnt labeled (I think it says random foliage or something like that on it). Right now its outside near my koi pond. I like the plant so I am going to keep it even if I cannot put it in the enclosure with my chameleon.

That is an umbrella plant - you're all good.

I've bought several of those very plants from Lowe's the past couple of years - they are fine with my FR chams. I've had some tags on a couple of them and they are a Schefflera - a few being the Gold Capella Schefflera. They are awesome.

what threw me off was the stems... kind of reminds me of bamboo. Anyways THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE REPLY. I feel better now!

this has already been covered but it's safe for chams =)

JUST MAKE SURE YOU WASH IT WITH MILD SOAP & WATER!!!! Don't want pesticides in your cage with your cham or his/her food! =)

That is schefflera arboricola, the safe version of Schefflera plants. Sometimes, you will find some of the variegated variety of arboricola, however both variations are safe.

Yes I did wash it off and flush out the roots then repotted it before i put it into my new enclosure. All is well, thank you for your replies.
