Ok get rid of the water feature which probably is a waterfall I presume, which is probably FULL of bacteria.
Make sure he is drinkin fresh water. mist with luke warm water.
His back looks like its slouching maybe he has injured himself.
Where did you buy him from?
He could have mbd but Ive never seen it in Panther chameleons.
The white in his poop is his urates being white is good it means hes hydrated, if its yellow to orange he is dehyrated.

All you need to do is take to a vet ASAP that deals with reptiles and they are your best bet for your chams survival.

Good luck.

OK I just took a good look at the pictures and he looks real bad, another thing you said you have him in a exo terra glass terarium, you need to get him out of that I lost my cham to a glass cage for many reasons, get a screen cage a nice big one try FL chams if you live in N america.
Get the biggest one you can.
If you cant get those cages try the exo terra flexariums a hundred to 260 gallon one is best.

Like I said get him to a vet now!

Not trying to be nit picky since I agree with most of your statement.
But, MBD certainly can happen to Panther as well as any other chameleon species.

To Lietf001, which part of the world are you located in?
The toe seems to be infected. So, you need to bring him to the vet (like suggested by others in here)
Meanwhile there, you can have him tested for parasite as well.
You will need to take his poo (if he defecate) and deliver the poo to the vet.

Yeah I know al reptiles can get mbd but how often have we seen a thread of someones panther chameleon having mbd, its mostly Veiled I think because they live in a semi desert climate with constant uv.

Hi Lietf001, please keep us posted with his development.
What country do you live in? do you know a good exotic vet to go to?

:) you are right about the fact that many of the MBD cases are veiled.
But, i think it is because veiled are more readily available than panther chameleons. Plus, a lot of new keeper usually go with veileds since panther is much more expensive to buy.

you definitely need to get him a bigger screened cage. I would say a 2ft x 2ft x 4ft would be minimum for a panther 1yr old.

sorry for the double post, and i would have to agree your cham needs to get to a vet...has your cham been to the vet before?

Also Welcome to the forums!

What part of the world are you from?

Thats also a thing I thought of, begginers normaly only have Veileds available to them and if a very new begginer had to buy a young panther and not supplement and give proper uvb source then it would also get mbd.

Good point dodolah.

are your chams both in the same viv?

If so they need to be separated. One of the two is probably being more dominant. Any time that the other come up, the dom chases that one back down...

2 chams together will also lead to a stressful environment ulitmately leading to one chams death...

no they are not is the same cage. there is two different one but they are side by side and with back colour board in between.

I agree that your chameleon needs to go to a vet right away.

Is there any calcium or phosphorous in the exo terra electrod3ize?

Ya glass is a no no, I also think its way way way too small for the cham your having problems with.

how do you like the way he calls him it it sleeping a pic of it pooping here it is chasing mom round the house but all jokes aside he does need to be looked at asap

nei ho (ni hao) lietf001,
There is nothing wrong with the glass cages as long as the temperatures don't get too hot in them and there is no water left standing on the floor of them. I have kept chameleons in glass cages for many years.

Can you post another shot of the foot please?
