Please Help

Ok so here is what I have now:

Reptivite without D3 (has vitamin A Acetate not beta carotene) the bottle says to dust 12 crickets every week. Someone earlier in the thread said once every 2 weeks.
Reptile Life calcium powder with D3
Rep-Cal calcium powder without D3 & phosphorous free

I am going to buy that 'Cricket Crack' stuff I have heard people talk about as a gutload...15 bucks for a pound of it...i'm sold. Will I not have to supplement any fresh veggies with that stuff?

It is weird, he doesn't just sit at the bottom of the cage and not move or anything. He is still active, even when I get home around 730, but it just seems like he keeps going back to that spot you see in the picture.

I had a friend come over while I was at work and she said that he wasn't anywhere near the bottom during the day. She said that he was moving around a lot and sitting in the basking area. I'm going to try and watch him tomorrow after I get home from work for atleast an hour or 2 and observe his behavior during the day.

I am also ordering his 24x24x48 cage tomorrow. I plan on using a 100w mercury vapor bulb with that set up. I am going to follow the dusting routine by someone who posted earlier in this thread (sorry I forgot your name!)

I apologize for all the lengthy posts. I just want my cham to be the healthiest and happiest he can be.

The cricket crack is good but still use collard greens or carrots too.

Good job on getting the right supps right away alot of people dont act as quick as you do so kudos on that!

If you want to be crazy like me I bought a Schlage Link camara and have it pointed and my chams cage so when i am at work I can watch them =]

Its possible that he is sleeping lower in the cage because its the "right" temperature there....just keep an eye on him!

Regarding gutloading...I gutload with an assortment of greens (dandelions, kale, collards, endive, escarole, etc.) and veggies (carrots, squash, zucchini, sweet potato, sweet red pepper, etc.).

Ok so I am going to buy that cricket crack and then whatever veggies I have with dinner I'll give to the crickets too!

That is a good point that he could be down there cuz its the right temperature. I will keep observing him and let you all know what I come up with.

The webcam idea is brilliant!! How much did that cost you to set up? Does the live stream over the web cost you money?

I got home and have now been watching crash for well over 2 hours. He has not gone into that spot once that is in the picture. I am really confused at all of this. It seems like as soon as 730 hits he goes down to the bottom of the cage more often. I will keep a close eye on him in the coming days/weeks and report back if I see anything else. Thanks for all of your advice on supplements, lighting schedules, and nutrition. I don't know what I would do without you all! If anyone is in the NY/NJ area I will be going to the Reptile Expo in Long Island. Let me know if anyone here is going!
