please help!!

I have recently adopted 1 male and 1 female Senegal chameleon, who share the same tank (they were together when I purchased them). When I feed them, live crickets, the female dominates the crickets and the male just kind of freaks out, turns brown, and looks at the food from a distance. Should I feed them seperately? Should they be living in seperate terrariums? Ahh please help

Separate them as soon as possible. Especially since one is not able to get food.

Some people keep chameleons in glass - especially in cooler climates but I think screen is better in most cases and everyone here will tell you that.

Agreed, you should defiently separate them. Did you get them from a pet store? If they are wild caught you need to focus on the male more since he is the one not acclimating as fast. Set up a cage that is amazingly as perfect as possible with the correct lighting and temps. Then drop him in there and let him be. Don't watch directly when feeding. If possible try cup feeding but you need to count the crickets you put in and search for them later and see if he ate while you were away. The longer you leave him be the faster he will acclimate. The female should be good.

Where are you located? There are places where it's easier to start with primarily glass enclosures and others where glass is really difficult to manage.

As noted, you need to separate them. You should also be ready for her to reproduce (I don't remember whether those are egg layers or live bearers). I would just assume she's been impregnated until proven wrong.

Most reptiles do not enjoy others company and typically one will dominate the other for basking, feeding and water. Chams fall into this category as well as beardies...snakes...iggys...monitors and etc. Now with that being said...it can be done and some very experienced ppl have done it successfully. But I don't recommend it!
