I have a female veiled chameleon, she's an adult and I have had her since september 2011, but when i got her she was already full grown. She has been pretty healthy until recently when she got burnt an accident :(

I was reading around and I am treating the burn, but several posts have mentioned that shedding helps get rid of the discoloration. One thing I have noticed is that she hardly ever sheds. Maybe 3 times since I have bought her...there does not seem to be any issues other then that, does any one have any insight?

She eats well, drinks well, has a clean cage and sandbox (she layed an infertile batch of eggs a few weeks ago).....goes to sleep fine and wakes up fine and has plenty of energy and attitude.

If she is an adult like you say she is not going to shed every few weeks like a baby or juvi does. So that is fine and she may just shed in parts, like her tail, or foot as they don't do too many full body sheds when they are adults.

ok, thank you for the tip. I guess we're just going to be in healing mode for the long-haul now :)

These creatures are slow at everything except growing up! That includes healing.. it will take im.. keep it clean with antibacterial ointment such as neosporin with NO pain killer. Or generic equivelent. It will fade away slowly but surly..
Any pics for us?
