I need some reference pictures.. In the last 3 weeks my young chameleon has gained a significant amount of weight.. I'm going to need some peoples pictures and good mommy information for chameleons having eggs young. It's possible.. My small veiled is either fat or going to bare eggs.. I'll take some picture after I get some normals.. Progression pictures from month to month.. If anyone has good web sites that show. Just age progression I will be very happy.

Has her appetite decreased, is she wandering to the bottom of the cage, has she quit eating altogether, has her coloring changed? If she is 6 months old it is possible, so you need to be prepared. Do you have a laying bin ready?

Yes, but two days ago I gave her some fruit and she has been eating alot.. So I thought that she is having a normal suppression in her diet habits. Since it is hotter and she has had alot to eat. I've had her for 34 days now.. It's not possible that she has bred with other chameleons at the Pet Store. Is it? I'm going to have to call them aren't I.. We've been having some weather as part of a tropical storm.. It's been nothing but thunder and lighting since before the fourth of July weekend. I went into her room and she is covered in tropical soil!! Is she hiding or digging.. I don't want to bother her!! How long till I check on her again?

i believe they can become gravid without mating and simply lay an infertile clutch....but its very important she gets those eggs out of her

She's far too young to be gravid, so be a bit careful not to overfeed her.....my female Veiled got a bit of puppy fat at that age, so it's nothing to worry about but keep an eye on it, because it is possible to overfeed.....
