I believe that is a sperm plug, its completely normal and will come off in its own. It might help if you spray the area with some warm water

ok, thanks, u know i m just worry about it, but that thing is like as hard as a rock, i tried to remove it but didn't succeed

Don't try to do it your self. Also that area looks really irritated, I am not too experience with sperm plugs, prolapse, etc stuff in that area so you might have to wait for another opinion

The red part you are seeing is from trying to remove the sperm plug. I have never seen that happen, i have removed and told a number of people to gently remove sperm plugs. I am sorry this freak accident happened to you and your boy. Soak his butt in room temp water and see if the sperm plug will come lose. But the red part is the beginning of a prolapse. Those are serious and could kill your cham. You would be better off if you could get him to a vet. Sorry I don't have any other ideas, maybe someone else will have an idea.

I think it may be a sperm plug as well. You could put him in a shower. Place a large plant in the shower/tub. Turn on the water and direct the spray onto the wall and then it will bounce off the wall onto the plant/chameleon. Try to increase misting his cage as well. Do not try to pull it off yourself. It should eventually come off. If it was a prolapse you can soak his bottom in sugar water and try to reduce the prolapse. However if this is a prolapse it looks very dried out and should be attended to by a vet. Hopefully some more experienced keepers will chime in but I really think it is a sperm plug. If it does not fall off on its own over the next day or so, I would take him to the vet.

thanks guys, i ll try to spray the cage and the area with some warm water, if tmr nth changes, then i probably will take it to the vet.

It is just a sperm plug which you can easily remove yourself. Simply pull very slowly. You will be surprised how long it can be. I recently removed one from a friends Pardalis that was over a 1" long.

Carl what is the red part? that is what had me worried.

Looks like the hemipenes starting to invert. It should roll out a little and hopefully roll back in if nothing is damaged.

that is what I thought, but I was afraid any pulling could cause a proplase, would that not is a danger? You know I always need to learn.

You have a better chance of him prolapsing with leaving the sperm plug in as he will be trying to get the plug out himself.

Carl

Looks like a "sperm plug" and a partially prolapsed hemipenis. As the others have said shower or misting to gently try to dislodge the plug and hopefully the hemipenis with naturally withdraw. Sometimes this is indicative of low humidity but can be a sign of vitamin A deficiency. You may want to switch to a vitamin with preformed vitamin A like rapashy or Reptivite, at least for a little while or gut load crickets with a mix that contains vitamin A such as bug burger.

thanks carl, i removed the plug this morning but its not very long though(i guess some part is still inside), so what do you suggest me to do now? and how about the red part? should i help it to push it back? thanks

The red you are still seeing is like Joevet mentioned. Looks more like the anus is irratated from having the dried sperm plug rubbing it. I would get him in a nice long humid shower. Just put a large plant in the middle of the shower. Redirect the water to hit the wall of the shower and let the splash off the wall hit the plant. Mature males use a rain shower as an opportunity to not only drink and hydrate but also to extend and retract the hemipenes to clean the area out. The warm water from the shower will also help reduce and swelling.

thanks guys and especially Carl, after a week of treating now it's fully healed and the red part goes back in, cheers

Im glad everything worked out well! You still need to keep an eye on things as infections in chameleons dont always appear right away.

Giving him a a "shower" once a week will never hurt. Most people are not able to provide 15-20 minute mistings everyday and a shower will greatly help with that.
