Possible eye problem with male veiled?

Hello everyone,

My 5-month-old male veiled seems to be having an eye issue.
My wife noticed his right eye looked a bit different from the left eye one morning when she turned on his lights. First, it looked like it was bulging a bit, and then later it looked a bit sunken in.
We've caught him scratching his eye / face against his branches two or three times on the same day. We have not seen him do it in a few days.
A few minutes after basking, the eye looked normal again.

Today, the eye looks slightly deflated.

I can't really see an issue, but this is my first chameleon and I'm not well-trained. Do you see a problem?

Hi. In the 1st and 2nd pics, it looks like he might have a small particle of something trapped in his innermost eye corner. It could be a piece of shed, bark or natural keratin build up or it could be a sinus issue. Eyes are funny things to figure out. How often do you mist and for how long? What supplements do you use and how often? What is your uvb lighting?

So there is dirt on his face... I am willing to bet he got some in the eye turret. He is rubbing to try to get it out. Do you have an auto mister set up? He needs to be able to clean the eye during a misting session.
