she is a female rudis chameleon or side striped chameleon wild caught and possibly gravid. She keeps getting this dark coloration to her from time to time. I have a male in there also

You need 2 cages for those chams. The males is stressing her badly. If she is gravid that just makes it worse. If you have to put one on a plant somewhere get the males out of the cage asap. let me know how they are doing when you get them both in their own cages.

:D I agree with Laurie. Separate then ASAP. Only time to have chams together is if she is receptive and then when she changes you separate.

That's what I was thinking but all the reading I've done says u can house a pair together no problems...:( cant believe everything you read

Male has been removed she is still showing dark coloration. When I take her out to handle her she gets bright green

Totally agree. I was told by a cham keeper when he's successfully raising his panther chameleon indoor with no lighting and heating. He even put his panther in the room with Air conditioner. He claims to bask him couple hours every morning and that's all.

I find it hard to believe and just ignore that :)
