I'd say my photos are decent and I'm learning more with every session.

You would be good with any entry level DSLR, Canon XS, XSi, and a decent macro lens. Most importantly, learn how to use the camera, you'd be suprised how many people buy wahzoo cameras only to take average photos. Take the time to learn the fundamentals and it will surely pay off.
