Thanks, y'all! I love my job, especially in June, July, and August I try to be creative to keep the kids motivated, or maybe it's to keep me motivated. Fuego changed lives by being in the classroom last year. Kids who hated school suddenly had something to read and write about. What a fantastic video!!! I knew you took Fuego to school, but didn't realize that we were in the presence of a famous movie star It looks like those kids are definitely inspired and that you are a favorite teacher in that school. Now where were you about 22 years ago when I was in 4th grade?????

Lol, I never had a good teacher either, which is why I try so hard to be one. I have ADHD so I know what its like to be the kid who is always yelled at for not paying attention. It's a crappy, terrible feeling, and no amount of yelling and lecturing can get those kids to pay attention. They only thing that CAN get them to pay attention is action and novelty, and there is no reason all teachers can't incorporate those things into their instruction.

Now the REAL challenge will be making a sequel to 27ninjas.....my kids will expect to top the original!
