Pothos as a "pot" plant?

How does pothos do when it's in a pot on the base of an enclosure as long as it has something to climb up? I'm getting my new enclosure in a couple of weeks and I have no way to hang it like I did in my flexarium (I hooked it over one of the things around the top that hold the actual mesh in shape).

Double pot it. Put the pot with the pothos in it, on top of an empty pot and put some plastic mesh around them to hold the together or put your potho on a small plant stand so it want sit right on the bottom. Jann

I remember Dankemeleon, (a member I havent seen on in a while) tried taking his pothos and wrapping it around the trunk of a tree, and he let it grow. The pic I saw had pothos vines like 6 feet up the trunk of the tree. Pretty cool. Also knowing that pothos only like low light, they may do a lot better near the bottom of the cage, with the vines growing up. I ahve find the ones I hang in my cages near the top never do well.

pothos

i have mine at the bottom growing up and it does awesome. the vines tend to follow the light, which is up making it convenient. in the beginning i do take the twist ties from the grocery store and guide them up. before you know it, the pothos will take over the cage and youll be trimming it!
