So my 3 month old vield recently started taking little bites out of his pothtos plant in his cage, i hear that pothtos is one of the best plants that you can have for your chameleon so i find it weird that it could also be toxic to him. Anybody have any experience with ther cham eating this stuff? Also what other plants are safe for my little guy to eat? And also any ideas why he's decided to start nibbling on it? lol
Thanks Everyone,
Haley

You are fine, the new leaves can even be nibbled on. The old leaves are not very tasty, even beardies and iggies wont touch it. On the bright side they dont have sap so you do not have to worry about getting sap in the eye like some plants.

My veiled regularly munches on his pothos. I want the plant to grow into the enclosure to fill out some holes in vegetation but my little guy keeps eating the new leaves lol no signs of ill effect from it.

Chamille really likes carrot greens. She's not wild about the turnip greens, radish greens, kale, broccoli or other stuff I'm growing for her so the feeders get to enjoy them.
