Pothos plant care

I need some advice. I'm picking up my first panther tomorrow and I've had his small Viv set up for a month and I can't seem to keep this pothos from dying. The temp is 82 around the top but the leaves keep turning brown. The soil is always moist too. Could my lights be burning it? It is a little jammed I guess? After a few months and I move it to the 6x2x2 I can monitor it better and give it more room to breath too. Any help appreciated.

Doesn't seem close enough to the lights to be drying the leaves out, are you getting enough water to the soil? Perhaps too much? What types of lights are you using?

The fact that the soil is always wet tells me the roots may be rotting possibly. I would try repotting with fresh soil and getting of anything dead or rotted. If its not that it could be the fact that it is getting almost 0 natural sunlight? Lastly I would try giving it a little plant food possibly.

Even tho pothos are very hardy they at some point still need a little sunlight or plant bulb

OK thanks for the tips. I feel dumb thinking the uvb bulb would be good with plants as well. Any recommendations for a bulb or food. I'm hoping the plant bulb is more budget friendly then the 5.0. Thanks for input too!

Not cheap but my pothos are doing great from using an Arcadia plant bulb. My pothos are regularly misted as well and don't seem to mind

Thanks for letting me know. I'll look in to them but from what I can see they are mostly for sale in the UK? do you know if any of our sponsors carry them. I am also hoping to find a bulb style screw in size.

Just going to say this because I haven't seen someone else yet, but there is ALSO a chance of it being a plant disease! I have scene plant diseases wipe out plants in less than 2 weeks before and it;'s very sad because there are not really plant doctors lol. You just gotta know what your doing. Sometimes pruning off dead portions can give them a chance to stop the spread but the diseases usually move through the whole plant thought the phloem which transfers sugars made from photosynthesis in the leaves. Worth a try tho.
