Power Outage

My cities power plant might be turned off soon due to fire risk. The company says it could be off for up to three days. Any advice for uvb, temperature, and humidity? Lucky it isn’t very cold here but it is very dry. Will he be fine just for a few days or should I move him next to a window or something. I’m not sure how big of a deal this is but I just want to be safe😁

I'm keeping a Veiled chameleon, he is around 6-7 months old
You should be okay with keeping your young male Chamaeleo calypatratus with the above temperatures, watering and food guidelines for a couple days. I would chime back to the Chameleon Forums when/if your chameleon starts sleeping during the day. That is a main concern to look for.

I would grab one of those hand pump sprays so you can still mist your veiled when power goes out. No uvb or lights for a few days isn't going to cause any damage...you could always take your chameleon outside for some supervised outside time to get natural UVB.

The biggest concern hearing you live in a desert area for me personally would be water and heat. You don't want your chameleon getting too warm when the power is out because your house AC isnt working.
