praying mantis eggs

I just bought some praying mantis eggs from a nursery and they have not hatched, lady told me to put the egg sack on a plant and let them grow in there. Im going to put 2 egg sacks in a 10 gallon terrarium with a pohtos plant in it. What do I feed them when they hatch?

i just bought an egg sack as well, hasn't come in yet, but the guy said to just feed them fruit flies until they grow a bit then you can feed them whatever insects you want.

Having hatched out mantis ooths before I would think a better place would be to put them on a stick in a clear jar. A mason jar with a screw on lid is great. When they start hatching you can get hundreds and they won't stay inside a terrarium. They will be all over the place. I suggest you do some research on hatching out mantis ooths. They can start to hatch at any time.
