My female Jackson been pregnant for a while and she recently gave birth to about 7 babies that were all dead. But i think it was cause during her pregnancy i wasnt taking that good of care of her (i need help with caring for pregnant females too), but that was like 2 weeks ago and she still looks preganant and might have babies in her. I been taking care of her pretty well a while right before she had given birth, but i still am and wanted to know if there might be live babies still in her or are they dead in her?

I'm no jackson pro here, but you could answer a few questions before someone knowledgeble reads this.
First, what makes you believe that "you didn't take great care of her"? What do you think went wrong?
Second, how does she look now? Do you have any pictures? Did you monitor her weight before, during, and after laying babies? If you could get an updated picture it would be great.
Third, as i said, i am no pro with jackson at all, but 2 weeks since she first gave birth seems like a lot of time. I don't want to misinform you, but if i were you, i'd already consider taking her to a vet very fast to get some X-rays or whatever is needed to make sure they are all gone. If she is still pregnant, then she may be in trouble. Someone should confirm soon and hopefully i am wrong!!

Here is a small part of the Jacksonii article from Petr Necas' book Nature's Hidden Jewel, 2nd edition. Basically, it says that Jacksonii are gravid for a period of 6 to 7 months, for an average of 174 to 236 days. Usually in the morning (10 to 12am), she gives birth from 7 to 51 babies. Giving birth may last between 30 minutes to 4 hours, and the female is ready to mate again in about 20 days.
The high difference between the Necas' numbers and yours are worrying me, and if you believe she may still be pregnant, you better find yourself a good and specialized vet to make sure everything is Ok. You may disagree with me, but a good visit to a vet is worth it, even if it's just to make sure everything is alright. This way, you'll see safer, and you will be sure your jacksonii won't die in your hands. At least, this is what i would do.
Once again, this is just the opinion of someone who just read 2 pages of a book without knowing anything else on your species. I can be wrong, i can be right, but in doubt, paying a good vet a visit is always worthy!

First, I completely agree that a vet visit is in order. Hopefully, it can be done during the weekend.
However, when I see "Jacksonii are gravid for a period of 6 to 7 months, for an average of 174 to 236 days" I suspect that dumping failed babies early might not be abnormal. His timeline is well within the 30 to 60 day "cushion" suggested by that quote.
I admit that chameleon reproduction, to me, seems a bit like Alchemy, but I believe that in other species there have been cases of early miscarriage of failed fetuses followed by live birth of viable young.

)Thanks very much for your time and response.. First because when i first got her she didnt seem pregnant at all and i had her with a male... But i noticed that she was gettin bigger..And i remember during one time that i wasnt giving her food and water everyday (sometimes i think no water for about 4 days ), But i went to the pet store and the man told me i should be feeding them everyday... But that was towards the end of her pregnancy. And now, she loooks really big still yet ALOT bigger than when she wasnt pregnant.. And i know that when they give birth they usually aer very skinny after.. But shes not.. Im thinking the babies are dead in her?? But yea, the pix., im having a hard time trying to use my laptop.. But if i get a good pix, ill post it.. Thanks for the help!!

At this point... Regardless of what people on here will theorize at, If you are really interested in turning this whole thing around (your husbandry included), you will be needing to see a vet.
