I keep everything the same no big changes just keep her well hydrated. Its after she lays that I increase calcium supplementation and feed her a little bit more until she looks normal.
I limit food intake initially before a planned breeding, until a week after copulation. Following that, food offering is increased. In my experience this has helped me keep clutch numbers down, and produce healthier larger eggs.
Does anyone increase calcium supplementation during pregnancy? Will that help ensure stronger more calcified eggs? I've had a couple clutches, but I'm having a poor rate of fully calcifed eggs, so I'm wondering if that will help.
