Pregnant

Hi my chameleon i believe is a female and she keeps going to the bottom of the cage(which i know is a sign of having eggs). But i just got her a month ago from a pet store and i dont think she could be 6 months yet. How do i know if she is pregnant and how can i tell how old she is

A picture would help a lot. Take a picture from above and from the side and maybe from behind. Have her on a branch when she is relaxed. If she is on the ground, do the best you can.

What are your temperatures?

If your temps are too high, they will often go to the bottom to try to cool off. If they are unhappy about their housing, they might go to the bottom. Please post pictures of your set up. There are a lot of reasons a chameleon is on the bottom of a cage.

The correct word to use is Gravid instead of pregnant, but I understand ur frustrations, since the cham wont scream in pain when she is Gravid.take lots photos including the hind feet,so we can give u our suggestions, also get a bucket of playsand ready just in case she is ready to lay her eggs

Yea,and I appreciate ur enthusiasm, that was pretty quick n beautiful.so u dont have to worry at this moment, she is not gravid.
She is roaming to the bottom of the cage could be 1)exploring her territory
2)wants to find a way out
3)the temperature is not correct in the cage
Set up
4)looking to hunt her feeders

Well the cage stays at mid 80s to mid 90s and my brother works at the local plant and grocery store and they dont have any ficus trees that are small enough they only have 4 foot ones and i was looking for a 2 foot one. Can you suggest any other types of plants that will fill up the cage because it is pretty empty.
