Prehensile Tails

I just have to say, prehensile tails are pretty darn cool. My ambilobe boy, who is pretty active in his cage, used it in a completely unexpected manner. I saw him actually drop from a branch, and catch himself on a lower one with his tail!!! Crazy. I'm sure it was an accident, but the fact that he pulled off such a cool stunt is pretty awesome...and it saved him from face planting... .

No doubt! Even though my male wants nothing to do with being handled at the moment, he has a blast to watch.

they sure are cool! sometimes i see my chams use their tail to hang down to get food, and to move from branches to other branches or to the screen.
