Hello, I’ve been a long time enthusiast of chameleons. When I was much younger I’ve had two chams, 1 veiled, 1 panther both juveniles. I did exstensive research but my enclosure was wrong. I had a lot of wrong info given to me and unfortunately they didn’t make it. I want to do things 100% right this time to avoid any mistakes that are fatal. So I am slowly prepping for a new chameleon. Slowing buying all of the correct equipment before purchasing a Cham.
-I already have a monsoon misting system which I think I need to replace the valves that mist (I’m only unsure because the system is at my moms house and I currently live out of state. I also will be going home soon to get my supplies.)
-I know I have a fogger
-dripping system
-and a light fixture
Upon further recent research I need:
-a different light (T5 UVB bulb)
-24x24x48 mesh wall enclosure
-only live plants
-I do want to upgrade my fogger
-probably a new heat bulb
-branches for climbing etc
If I need anything else please let me know wether it’s just general items or more specific..
I’m slowly going to start accumulating these items until I 100% have everything ready and set up for my chameleon.
My husband and I are planning on getting a male Blue Ambanja Panther Chameleon. So also any species specific tips would also be appreciated
