Pretty as a Pixie!

Snapped a few more photos of Pixie today following her first shed with me last week. Her colours are starting to come through more now and she's got a fair bit of green showing round her cheeks and nose, bless her.

Thank you so much everyone for all the lovely comments! Pixie and I are hoping to change how people think of female Panthers and prove that they can be every bit as lovely as the males, including colours!

I think Panthers have the prettiest females of all the chameleon species. They always look so dainty, Pixie especially ^-^

I don't know about that - I've had two female veileds. Here's a pic of my second, Amy. She was really pretty! It's nice to have a cham that isn't green!

Oh, she was a pretty one! I think I'm drawn to female panthers because they are so different from their male counterparts. I can definitely see the beauty in veileds (I suppose I'm a bit biased too, hehe), but at the same time I feel like females are too similar to males if they show their colors. Panther girls just stand out!

Yes, that's true! I always thought they looked 'naked' and like something was missing but I guess I never looked close enough before. Pixie is so cute and I just love her pretty each colours.

I think I thought the same, only for veileds. Plain green seems like the reptilian equivalent of nude

Thanks everyone for the lovely comments. She only goes this pretty peach colour when I get her out. In her cage she usually stays a shade of brown as she spends most of the time in her basking spot!
