Heat pad on the bottom. I use a screen top. I also use thick paper tubes in layers on the end with the heat, and egg crate on top of that. When you want some, just shake the tube into a container and all sizes fall out. Feed lots of fruits and vegetables on the other end without the heat. That’s about it. They are very easy. Good luck.
