Proper lighting

I'm due to renew both my veiled cam and red-eyed tree frogs lights.

I'm always confused with desert and forest. There are so many variations available.

To me, the chameleon should be T5 desert
Frogs T5 forest. Simply as that's roughly their habitats.

Any ideas folks!

Looks the business. Only downside is my chameleon wouldn't be able to bask in that set up. They're not supposed to be directly under the sunshine bulb not heat lamp

T5ho with either 5.0 reptisun or 6% arcadia for chameleons is recommended. The coiled bulb only puts out uvb around 3 inches

We dont recommend CFL's unless its a very short cage. As others stated, UVB is too low by 6-8". That would be great for a 1 foot tall gecko/anole tank, not very good for a 3-4ft tall chameleon cage.
