Proudly presenting ... Monty!

Miss Lily

Chameleon Enthusiast
Yesterday, I collected a very special package from my dearest friend Anita - my first Jackson! He is far smaller than I was expecting but he is VERY cute and his teeny horns are so sweet!:D Monty, my dinky dinosaur has finally arrived! I have waited 3 years for this day - I have always wanted a Jackson since I got my first chameleon, Lily, back in 2008! Thank you so much Anita (chameleon lady)!

Awwwww Tiff, what a tiny angel. No wonder you have wanted him for so long, and the little bit on red showing under his chin is sweet. Can i come over and hug him? Baby jacksons have always been one of my fav's. they are one of the ones I like to watch, but i am only fascinated by the babies. Congrats. and love to Monty.

I remember as a kid always going to pet stores and longing to have a Jackson's. Somethin about the triceratops/dinosaur look always appealed to me. Congrats on the baby girl. :D

No the little Monty is a 'big boy", can't you tell by his studly look?:)

Quite possibly, yes!!! :D I could be addicted to worse things though! My OH should think himself lucky, lol! A Jackson has been at the top of my wishlist for 3 years, and I would also love a male Panther at some point too! I just wish I had a spare room to turn into a reptile room! My lounge currently houses Monty (but he's only little!), Amy, Tommy and my two cresties, Splat and Buffie!

OMG!!! soooo cute!! You are gonna love having a Jackson's! That was my first chameleon and I still miss her. I love the name Monty! He couldn't have a better home than yours. :)

It looks like you picked a good one. Nice n' chubby!
Thanks Justin - my friend actually picked him out for me and brought him down to the Portsmouth Show for me. She said she would choose a bigger one that looked most boyish with the biggest horns! :D I visited them all when he was just two weeks old, and he doesn't seem to have grown that much, but I know he has!

Awww, thanks! First chams are so special - my first was a female Veiled called Lily and I loved her to bits and she taught me so much. His name was decided weeks ago and I did think I would change my mind when got him but Monty 'the Dinky Dinosaur' has stuck!:D
