Does anyone ever tried to feed Turkistan Roaches (schelfordella lateralis) to a pygmy?
As far as I know Turk. roaches do not hide, move a lot and available in proper size!

ps: if you would not advise it, what other roach could come into the picture?

I haven't yet, though I think I may try cupfeeding some to them. I DO NOT want them getting out as I have a background to my tank that would allow them access to the top. I have fed dubias before and it was a hit or miss. Some liked them, others didnt.

Yes I do. It's siliconed on so I can't take it out. They can climb on the watermarks on the glass also though.

Been feeding my Ambanja turks for a couple weeks now.. I clean there cup once a week with bleach. I feed them soggy cinnamon toast crunch cereal every other day.. They stink so bad I'm thinking about switching to less nutritious crickets..

Did you saw any escaped roach?
Stinks? Roaches are considered to better because of the nutritional value and because they are not that stinky that the crickets.

How come mines stink?? They are in the cup they came in, the tall soup container cup. What do you guys keep your roaches in?? I'm way to paranoid to let one escape the enclosure, it's sealed anyway...

Mine don't stink. Mine smell odd, but it's not an awful. I keep mine in a plastic tub with a lid that has screen glued in for ventilation. I keep that tub in a ten gallon tank with a locking lid that has screen too small to let babies out. No escapes since I got 'em four months ago.

I have had headless ones climb watermarks... Gross.
