My female died today after a week of looking very dehydrated no matter how much she drank.:(

Unfortunately we thought she was gavid and egg bound which left me with no alternative really but to try and get a positive outcome from her death so I cut the little girl open to find 3 eggs....:)
The flash is on in this pic and the eggs look yellow, is this normal?

I would really love any advice that anyone can give me and in particular to the following questions:

1) Do the eggs look ok?

2) They are in a plastic tub with eco-earth soil which is damp, should they
stay in this or should I order a different substrate?
Should the eggs be covered and buried slightly? or completely?

3) What is the Best way to incubate the eggs to ensure iv done the best that
I can for them so they will hopefully hatch, in terms of misting them daily
etc?

4) If successful when do you think that they will hatch?

Any help Would be greatly appreciated I am in the UK and my tanks temps are 73F although obviously these eggs are going to stay in the container.

Please help!!!

cover them up.
Keep the soil damp.
room temperature (63 to 73 degrees f.)
60 to 90 days.
They look good to me.

Congrats Mike

Good luck with the little eggs :D

I'm not gonna be much help unfortunately, i left mine where Mini laid them... i trust her ;) I envy you though, I wish i was in the position to be able to see them. Cant really check on them without causing a problem.

Mine have the yellow on them too

:D

Thanks guys.

Brad, should I still cover them if the tub they are in has a lid?
I decided to put the tub over the mesh of my exo terra set up so that the heat from the tank rises past it so fingers crossed should keep the temps constant while incubating. is this ok do you think?

ive kept my pygmy eggs half burried in hatchrite and so far ive had a 100% hatch rate from this. i kept mine at room temp ranging from 65 degrees to 78 degrees. and just checked the hatchrite once a week to make sure that it still felt damp. if it felyt too dry i just put a couple drops of water around the outer edge of the deli cup i had em in and all was fine.
