My pygs literally run across the viv if I give them baby silkworms. They love them! I'd suggest covering most of the soil with leaf litter. Sometimes mine pick up dirt from where the leaves are sparse, and most of mine like to drink from the puddles on the leaves on the ground more than the drops on the plants. If your temps are getting a little high put some ice cubes in the cage wedged in plants or on the ground and they'll gravitate towards those cooler areas. It helps them stay cool. Add lots of plants and lots of little stick highways. The more cover they have the more protected they'll feel so you'll see them more because they'll be more adventurous. Those are all that come to mind at the moment.
