Q's on selling your babys!!!!

i know they are all cute and stuff but eventualy you need to get your cham babys to a new home. my question is how do you go about selling them and how to you go about pricing them depending on the differint breeds?? sorry about the spelling im not good at it and im haveing a very productive day at work and the spell check dose not work hear lol anyway i hope to get some answers you guys always come thrue.

average veiled price is about 35-70 dollars depending on size.
best place i have found to sell is kingsnake.com. go to the classifieds section.
if i am not mistaken their is someone there looking for baby veileds.

another Q to add to the last one. how do you safely ship a chameleon??i know people do it all the time.

i have never done it. i would say a box with some branches. overnight delivery

Get a box (approx 10-12 inches wide and tall) Fill it with newspaper. Put Styrofoam inside around the edges. Put the lizard in a paper bag semi-stuffed with shredded newspaper and staple it shut. Depending on the route that its traveling, you may need heat packs or cold to ensure survival. Its cold this time of year, so definitely keep heat packs on hand.

The Styrofoam inside on the sides reinforces the inside. Its the same way chameleoncompany does theirs. Kammers is almost the same, they used a deli cup with a screen top for the cham though. Either way worked fine.

Mine came in a deli cup with newspaper, it seemed to work well.

You can get all the shipping supplies at LLLreptile.com. They've got the boxes w/styrofoam, the deli cups w/holes, and the little heating packs.

Otherwise, just a paper towel in the cup and pack crushed up newspaper in the box to make the cup snug. I wouldn't put a branch in for a baby because it might injury him/her during shipment.

Also, check with your shipping company beforehand to make sure they don't have any special rules or whatever. You don't want to show up with boxed up lizards and have them tell you you've got to do something else first.

yes they are and i will be selling them, check in with me around july if you are still interested i want to wait to ship them till i know they are all healthy. there are more pics of lee in my gallery if you want to check them out.
