Little Quasimodo is growing up. I took him out today and got a weight on him and took the opportunity to take some pictures. He's got some pretty blues coming in. He's a wild caught, imported May 5th. I need to find him a good home. I don't know if his deformity is an injury or if he hatched with it. I'm sure x-rays would tell but I'm not doing that.
I think he might have been whacked out of the tree with a stick or he somehow got an injury to his right side that damaged his spine/shoulder and maybe dislocated his left shoulder. His tail sometimes doesn't curl up on a plane--sort of a little like a flattened cork screw.
In the first picture you can see how caved in he is on his right side, from his shoulder diagonally across his ribs. He gets around really well. He is a funny looking little thing.
A few days after I got him he weighed 16.3g and today weighs 24.2g. He was very emaciated, and is still pretty skinny. Still, not bad weight gain for 10 weeks.
The first picture shows his caved in ribs and right shoulder. The pictures from behind shows his left shoulder that looks dislocated or something like that. He uses both arms and hands to climb. In the last picture, he caught a glimpse of his reflection in the window and stoop up tall and fierce.
He needs a special home if anyone knows someone who might do well with him.
