Question about chameleon cage

Oh and a "floor" will be put on the bottom...any ideas?was gonna cover with wood and then proper flooring down over the wood
Is that a real pullout drawer at the bottom? If it is I would separate the face(the part that you actually grab to pull the drawer out) of the drawer from the actual body(the part that sits inside of the cabinet) and convert it so the face of the drawer flips down on a set of hinges giving you access to the inside. Then id build a false bottom inside the cabinet and hide all my plumbing below that so you cant see it. I coat all drainage areas with FlexSeal to keep the wood from rotting or molding.

You should come build me a chameleon mansion with plumbing and all the shenanigans lol :ROFLMAO: Do you work in something related to construction? You seem to know a lot lol.

I'm an industrial planner for one of the biggest chemical companies in the world, so yes in a way I guess I kind of do have background in design and construction. I also build acoustic guitars and reptile enclosures as a hobby. What a combination right? I'm not the type of person that can be a little interested in a subject. I'm either all in, full throttle or nothing at all. Obsessed or bored!

If you live any where near south east Louisiana I'd gladly build one for you.

I’m the same way lol. There’s no in between for me. I’ll go from having a sad betta fish in a tiny bowl to having a huge planted tank, making my own pressurized CO2 system our of soda bottles, and learning as much as I can about anything that has to do with fish and water chemistry lol... should have known the same thing would happen to me when I decided to get a chameleon I’m always trying to work on something or learn something new, I’m just very limited because I’ve had very little hands on ecperience with much of the building/crafting stuff. My family is very old fashioned and they always pushed for me to be the little lady that reads books and plays the piano.... well that didn’t work out :ROFLMAO:

Sadly I live all the way in Miami or I would have absolutely loved to work on a big project with you. I really appreciate the offer :)

It is a pull out drawer what I was gonna do was put a flooring above that so I could still pull the drawer out and put the drainage In there. I'm going to invest in that flexseal. Now should I put like a back dropper for the back or should I let it be and keep it the way it is (without the wood across it)

I’d put the wood so it has a nice clean finish
