Question about Dubia.

I should be getting a cham early next year sometime, and I was thinking about starting a dubia roach colony to feed. should i start it about a month before i get my cham to leave time for new babies? How much time do you guys think?
And the cham I'm gunna get is a panther about 4-5 months old.

A month will be enough time to have some babies. As long as you start with around 50 adults you should have enough by then to have a good supply of feeders for a single cham. Remember to follow the space between the eyes rule and dont feed anything too large.

I would get the dubia colony going as soon as you possibly can.
A 4 to 5 month old panther will eat larger than newborn dubia, and it takes a few months for colonies of dubia to get established, get productive, and to get them growing.

Dubais are great, like everyone else said start it as soon as you can. I would advise getting a good mix. Each adult Female can produce 15 to 30 babies every 30 to 45 days. A growing chameleon can eat 10 to 15 appropriate sized Dubai a day.

If you plan on breeding them you may want to start with a few hundred 1/8 to 1/2 inch and 50 to 100 adults. When I started my colonies I had 2000 mixed 1/8 to 1/2 and about 200 adults (granted I am feeding 2 Panthers and 2 Veiled).

if u have a hard time finding dubia, ask dave about it. he has a great colony starter deal, but he's a little behind at the moment. everyone jumped on his deal like candy, haha.
