Question about misting

I just purchased a new misting system for my cham. How often do I need to run it? Do I mist say every 4 hours and let it run even during the night? My house stays around 70deg year round right now humidity stays around 50% in non basking areas of the cage. Cage is a 24x24x48 reptibreeze. Just want to make sure I set this up the correct way. Male veiled chameleon about 8 months old

I run my mister every two hours during the day. I give a long misting first thing in the morning and later in the day. Then shorter times in between just to make sure there is drinking water available. I would not let it run at night. You want to let the cage dry somewhat to avoid mold and bacterial growth.
